There are approximately 500 members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance in Devon. These include Pre-Schools, Parent & Toddler groups, Drop-in and Opportunity Centres as well as Day Nurseries, Playschemes, After School clubs, Neighbourhood Nurseries and Individual Members.
The County is line managed by an Area Executive Officer, and supports and advises members in all aspects of pre-school/ childcare and business management.
Our office is situated on the top floor of the Palace Gate Centre, 3 Palace Gate, Exeter. The Administrator is in the office on Mondays.
We offer the following services:
- Support staff are available to answer queries, discuss concerns, offer advice or signpost you to further help during normal working hours. See contact page for numbers.
- A range of Pre-school Learning Alliance publications are available for you to look at and purchase.
- A lending library service for early years related books and magazines
- A reasonably priced photocopying and faxing service
