CACHE Level 1 Award in Caring for Children (QCF)

This qualification is designed to stimulate and encourage learners understanding of the skills required to care for children. They support the learner in preparing for the "next steps"

either in training or moving towards the world of work. 

What does this qualification cover?

These qualifications help you to develop understanding of the skills required to care for babies or young children. There are a range of vocational and personal, social development units available within this qualification including ‘Growth and Development’, ‘Preparing for your Next Steps’, ‘Science Activities for Young Children’.

Anyone who wants to gain more of an understanding about caring for children or working in a setting, including those with special educational needs or where English is an additional language.

These courses usually run over 12 weeks.
