Due to the nature of many of our posts, we may seek details about a successful applicants’ criminal record from the Criminal Records Bureau before any appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings, as well as convictions.

Early Years Practitioner in London

Main duties would include the following:
- Encouraging children to learn through play in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Communicating sensitively with the children and their parents/carers.
- Assisting the room leader in the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, and being able to write clear reports.
- Sound understanding of child development and of children’s needs.
- Being able to work as part of a team and to be willing to take on responsibility, but also being able to use own initiative.
- Ability to work with parent/carers and to encourage their involvement.
Qualification required:
Diploma in pre-school practice, NVQ 3 in Early years care and education or equivalent

Senior Nursery Worker in Stockton-on-tees
£13,071 - £15,006 per annum

All senior nursery workers will need a minimum level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent and will supervise nursery staff working in their specific area.
Candidates will also require specific experience as follows:
- Under Twos
You will be responsible for supervising the baby area and providing care and appropriate learning opportunities for children under two years old. You will have had training in the care and education of children under two and post-qualification experience in this area.

Nursery Cook in Billingham

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and healthy kitchen environment and preparing and serving nutritional meals to children and adults. You will regulate kitchen stock control and ensure that specific dietary requirements are met.
You will need a current Food Hygiene Certificate and a current First Aid Certificate plus the ability to organise, plan and cook nutritious meals. You will also need an awareness of food allergies and health and safety issues.

The Pre-school Learning Alliance manages a list of approved tutors (a tutor bank) who are employed using fixed term contracts. You will be responsible for planning and delivering (teaching) a range of qualification and training courses in accordance with the quality assurance standards of the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
We are looking for experienced early years tutors with knowledge of the National Occupational Standards in Child Care and Education and the Early Years Foundation Stage. Inclusion in the tutor bank does not guarantee the offer of work.
A qualification in teaching adults, e.g. PTTLS, CTTLS, DTTLS
C&G 7307; ASCETT; Cert Ed; PGCE (F.E.) or equivalent is required.

Administrative Assistant in London

Main tasks for this post:
- Type reports and letters using Word.
- Data inputting using Microsoft office packages.
- Respond to telephone and written enquiries.
- Process incoming and outgoing post.
- Assisting with the production of mailing and filing documents.
We are looking for people who can maintain a professional telephone manner throughout the day. Windows knowledge and the ability to update databases and type correspondence are essential for this role. Also the ability to deal with competing demands, work using own initiative and as part of a team.
The successful individual could undertake admin work for a number of different departments, so tasks may vary, but the core skills and experience outlined above will be required.
This post is as and when required according to departmental business needs.
Crèche Workers in Croydon
£9.00 per hour
