Services
We offer a range of services to support children, families and professionals. These include childcare services, quality assurance packages, training, business development support and family learning programmes.
Business Development
The charity offers a range of specialist business advice, training and information to support early years professionals. The Business Development team works to improve and promote good business practice and develops innovative ways of supporting the sustainability of settings through new initiatives and by exploring opportunities for funding.
Family Learning
Family Learning programmes give parents the knowledge to support their children's development from an early age.
Quality Assurance
Aiming for Quality, the Alliance's accreditation scheme, supports early years settings to deliver the highest possible standards of education and care for children.
By achieving Aiming for Quality, settings can demonstrate to parents, professionals and the wider community that the service offered is of a consistently high standard.
In a competitive marketplace, this kind of recognition enables a setting to consolidate their position by adding extra value to the service and this, in turn, increases their long-term sustainability.
Inclusion
The Pre-school Learning Alliance is committed to the effective inclusion of every child into pre-school. We provide a comprehensive package of publications, research, training and guidance to support inclusive practice in pre-schools.
Training
As a leading training provider, commended by the Adult Learning Inspectorate as 'one of the best training providers in England', the Alliance offers a wide range of specialist adult learning opportunities for parents, early years professionals, volunteers and those wishing to return to study.
