Training
Pre-school Learning Alliance training is specifically designed to meet the needs of the staff, committee members and parents involved in pre-school settings.
Oxfordshire Pre-school Learning Alliance have an agreement with the Oxfordshire Early Years Team that we will provide qualification and committee related training and the Early Years Team will provide all other training.
Pre-school Learning Alliance Courses are nationally recognised.
Qualification courses range from introduction level to level 3
- Getting Started in a Pre-school Setting an introduction for new staff, parents/carers
- CACHE; Certificate in Pre-school Practice a level 2 course for those who wish to work at a supervised level.
- CACHE; Diploma in Pre-school Practice a level 3 course for those who wish to be playleaders.
Short courses include:
- Health and Safety
- Inclusion
- Behaviour
- Family Learning
- Behind the scenes — series of 13 workshops for staff, volunteers, committee members and parents these include Appointing Staff, Health and Safety in a Parent and Toddler Group, Behaviour Policy for a parent and toddler group, Legal Status of Pre-schools and parent and toddler groups.
