There are approximately 230 members of the Pre‑school Learning Alliance in Oxfordshire and 70 in Swindon.  These include Pre‑schools, Parent & Toddler groups as well as Day Nurseries, Playschemes, After School Clubs and individual members.

Oxfordshire is managed by a voluntary committee consisting of representatives of pre‑school.  A member of the committee represents the county at the Regional and National level of the Pre‑school Learning Alliance.

The Oxfordshire office is situated at New Marston Primary School in Oxford and carries out the administration for Oxfordshire and Swindon.

The Swindon office is located at 32 The Circle, Pinehurst Swindon.

We offer the following services:-

• Books for loan for level 2 and 3 childcare courses
• A range of Pre‑school Learning Alliance publications are available for you to look at
• Newsletters
• Grant making CD‑Rom to loan
• The use of Makaton and Persona dolls
• Office services — photocopying, laminating and binding (a small charge is made)

Swindon

• Toy Library service for pre‑schools, toddler groups and early years settings. (A small charge is made.  Please see the Toy library page for the catalogue and details)
• Newsletters

• A range of Pre‑school Learning Alliance publications are availalbe for you to look at

In Oxfordshire and Swindon the Pre‑school Learning Alliance offers training which is specifically designed to meet the needs of the staff, committee members and parents involved in pre‑school settings.  Please see the Training page for further details.
