Through a contract with Oxfordshire County Council, Oxfordshire Pre-school Learning Alliance assist the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership with developing and sustaining high quality childcare places in all voluntary managed Ofsted registered pre-schools in Oxfordshire by:
- Providing support to existing provision
- Assisting with extending provision
- Encouraging sustainability
- Contributing to the development of Partnership Foundation Stage Units.
Four Pre-school Development Workers, a Senior Pre-school Development Worker and a Administrator are employed (see contacts page)
Oxfordshire Pre-school Learning Alliance is managed by a voluntary committee consisting of representatives of pre-schools. A member of the committee represents the county at the Regional and National level of the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
