Meal times
We feed bottle-fed babies individually in accordance with their rhythms and not as part of a prescribed routine. We follow weaning patterns as advised by parents aiming to introduce children to nursery cooked food as soon as is appropriate for that child.
Our nurseries provide healthy snacks and well-balanced meals each day, including a vegetarian option. We take into account the cultural and dietary needs of individual children, including any food allergies. We do not use nuts (including peanut butter) in any food provided by our nurseries.
All children are given a choice about what and how much they want to eat. If your child’s appetite is poor or they have not eaten anything for lunch, we will let you know when you pick your child up. The notice board at the nursery shows the daily menu for the current and coming week.
