Alliance publishes three new titles to help settings with sustainability
The Pre-school Learning Alliance has published three innovative publications designed to help settings remain sustainable in today's competitive early years climate. The publications are part of the charity's programme to support settings with information and best practice examples.
Effective Marketing and Publicity for Early Years Settings is a practical resource designed to help settings promote their services to children and families. The guide provides practical ideas, case studies and working examples of how settings can benefit from an effective marketing strategy.
Risk Management in Early Years Settings will help settings with effective risk management processes to protect the children using the facility, the assets and to maintain a setting's good reputation. The guide promotes good practice with useful advice and solutions for good risk management procedures and includes hazard analysis and insurance information.
Finance in Early Years Settings is a crucial tool providing detailed descriptions of the good accounting practices to help early years practitioners develop structured financial systems. It also provides information on how to keep up-to-date accounting records, financial planning and budget management.
Steve Alexander, Chief Executive of the Pre-school Learning Alliance said
"In an ever changing, competitive early years market place, it is crucial that settings have the most up-to-date information and examples of best practice available. We have conducted extensive research into what our member groups want and need in terms of information and support. These resources are part of the charity's on-going programme of support to address these needs".
