Unmissable new resources for Baby and Toddler groups from the Pre-school Learning Alliance

The Pre-school Learning Alliance has published a set of posters to help people running baby and toddler groups to promote the many benefits of attending.

The five A2-sized posters give parents the opportunity to see at a glance how the ethos of, and activities which take place in, baby and toddler groups meet the five Every Child Matters outcomes — Being healthy, Staying safe, Enjoying and achieving, Making a positive contribution and Achieving economic wellbeing.

Rita Sutton, member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance Baby and Toddler Forum said:

"Baby and toddler groups are a very popular form of childcare, where babies, toddlers and their parents and carers can enjoy fun activities together which encourage learning through play. They are also an opportunity to help parents and children make new friends. Some parents aren't aware of the benefits of baby and toddler groups, or don't quite know what to expect from them. These welcoming and easily accessible posters will provide a much better understanding of the experience within the group and encourage more parents to bring their children along to a session."
