Where: The Woodside Centre, Lea Road, Tiverton
What: Local MP visits New Neighbourhood Nursery

Angela Browning MP for Tiverton and Honiton will be visiting the Woodside Centre Neighbourhood Nursery on Friday 3rd September at 2pm.

Mrs Browning will be joining in with the children's activities and celebrating the childcare facilities the nursery has to offer within the community. The Woodside Centre hosted a grand opening on 25th August with an official launch by David Sproxton, Chair of Aardman Animations, creators of Creature Comforts.

Gail Burnett, Nursery Manager at Woodside said:

"It's lovely to welcome Angela Browning MP to the nursery, so that we can show off our wonderful new facilities for children and their parents. We are very proud of the excellent level of education and care we provide for our nursery children."

The Woodside Centre offers 40 full day care places for children from six weeks old to school age. The nursery is run by committed and experienced staff who aim to provide flexible, affordable childcare with an emphasis on learning through play.

Working in partnership with local businesses and the Devon Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership, Zero14Plus, The Woodside Centre has been able to develop a first class facility. Designed specifically for children, the building will provide a safe but exciting and stimulating environment.

The Woodside Centre is managed by the Pre-school Learning Alliance, which is establishing a network of over 30 Neighbourhood Nurseries nationwide. The underlying objective is to provide flexible, affordable high-quality daycare for parents living the 30% most deprived communities.
