Mark Simmonds MP visits brand new neighbourhood nursery

What: Local MP visits New Neighbourhood Nursery
Mark Simmonds MP for Boston and Skegness will be visiting Skegness Neighbourhood Nursery on Friday 17th September at 10am.
Mr Simmonds will be joining in with the children's activities and celebrating the childcare facilities the nursery has to offer within the community. Skegness Neighbourhood Nursery hosted a grand opening on 9th September with an official launch by the Mayor of Skegness and entertainment from a Butlins' Red Coat and Billy Bear.

"As the Shadow Education Minister responsible for Nursery Education, I am delighted to have the opportunity to see first-hand what Skegness Neighbourhood Nursery has to offer parents and children in the local community and to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has worked to ensure the provision of this excellent facility."
Frances Coleman, Nursery Centre Manager at Skegness said:
"After a fantastic opening, we are very pleased to welcome our local MP in to the nursery and we are looking forward to showing him what great facilities we have to offer. We are very proud of the excellent level of education and care we provide for our nursery children."
Skegness Neighbourhood Nursery offers 50 full day care places for children from six weeks old to school age. The nursery is run by committed and experienced staff who aim to provide flexible, affordable childcare with an emphasis on learning through play.
Working in partnership with Sure Start Skegness and Skegness Infant School, nursery has been able to develop a first class facility. Designed specifically for children, the building will provide a safe but exciting and stimulating environment.
Skegness Nursery is managed by the Pre-school Learning Alliance, which is establishing a network of over 30 Neighbourhood Nurseries nationwide. The underlying objective is to provide flexible, affordable high-quality daycare for parents living the 30% most deprived communities.
