Alliance urges Government 'to grasp unique opportunity'
Commenting in advance of the launch of the 10 Year Strategy for Childcare, Pre-school Learning Alliance Chief Executive Steve Alexander said:
"The plan is an important milestone in the development of sustainable, affordable childcare. I urge Government to grasp this unique opportunity to build genuine partnerships with all providers, look at new ways of funding for the long term and change the perception of working in childcare to build an expanded early years workforce".
To coincide with the launch of the plan, the Alliance has issued a position paper, A 10-Year Vision for Childcare, which is can be downloaded here.
