Sea Life Centres — Special offer for Alliance member groups

Exclusive rates for Alliance members are £3.50 per child
One adult is admitted for free with every two child admissions. The price includes a free, specially tailored talk, delivered by one of the SEA LIFE Centre's highly experienced Visitor Education Team (only available weekdays during term time — subject to availability).
Familiarisation visits
Early years practitioners are also invited to visit the centre for free before the group visit. This gives the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the centre, complete a risk assessment (available from the centre) and find out about the learning opportunities available to make the most of the visit.

Playweek 2008

Playweek is the Pre-school Learning Alliance's annual celebration of all things play! Alliance members all over the country will be holding open days, teddy bears' picnics and exciting activities to champion learning through play, recognise their hard work over the year and raise awareness of their group or setting in the local community. Most of all, it is a chance for everyone to have fun.

Changing Attitudes 2008 — real lives, real people

At this fifth 'changing attitudes' conference, it is time to ask real people what real life is like. Is society more inclusive? Are services integrated? Is there early support? Is there commitment to raising awareness and celebrating diversity? Over two days, delegates will have an opportunity to listen to real stories of challenge and celebration; explore issues more fully in seminars; share examples of good practice in discussion groups; network with other professionals, view resources and try out equipment at the exhibition.
