Galt Educational and the Pre-school Learning Alliance are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership for 2009; these two leading organisations from the early years education sector have collaborated to offer a member package full of exclusive benefits.

As the leading educational charity specialising in the early years, the Alliance's popular range of membership benefits provides practical support to over 15,000 early years settings.

As part of this new partnership, Pre-school Learning Alliance members will receive 10 per cent off Galt Educational resources and furniture. New Alliance members are also being offered 20 per cent off their first order with Galt. These added extras are being introduced to help Alliance members cope better with budgetary pressures, which in some cases result in new educational resources being left at the bottom of the pile after pre-schools and nurseries consider staff costs and other overheads.

"Galt is already a leading figure in the early years arena but we wanted to further demonstrate our commitment to early years professionals by teaming up with the leading early years educational charity, Pre-school Learning Alliance. We have further strengthened their existing member offer and hope our customers and Alliance members benefit from the new discounts in this time of economic uncertainty", commented Rachel Collinson, Galt Educational's Senior Marketing Manager.

The Alliance offers a range of independent professional information, advice, support and guidance tailored especially to meet the needs of young children and their families, students, early years practitioners and professionals. Their membership package includes a range of benefits from competitive insurance cover to discounts on Reflecting on Quality, the Alliance's leading accreditation scheme.

"Our membership package is about giving our members benefits that really matter to them; good quality educational resources are an important part of a child's development process and Galt has been leading the way for over one hundred years." added Bridget Allison, Publications and Information Manager Pre-school Learning Alliance.

Early years practitioners can take advantage of the Pre-school Learning Alliance's membership scheme including the new discount from Galt Educational by visiting www.pre-school.org.uk/galtmember or by calling 020 7697 2595.
