Family Learning

What is Family Learning?

When parents and carers experience learning together it is not only fun but can be the most effective way for children to learn. Family Learning is about experiencing learning situations together. Learning does not have to be from books, it could be going on an outing, cooking together or even exploring a new hobby.

At Limelight Family Learning Centre we try to offer different experiences to parents, carers and their children to encourage a desire to learn new things. We aim to make learning fun and exciting by providing hands on real opportunities for parents and children to experience together. Some of our workshops and courses include craft sessions, yoga, cooking workshops, outings, Managing Behaviour, Dad's outings and more. For further details, please ring Tim Neville, Limelights Family Learning Officer on 07947 475064.
