Limelight FLC
The Limelight Family Learning Centre is sited within Goldsmiths Community Centre in North Downham and is directly managed by the Lewisham Branch of the Alliance.
At Limelight we aim to provide affordable services for families so that all members of the local community are able to access them. Many services are free to our users or are subsidised to ensure that prices are kept low.
Our aim for Limelight is to provide a calm, welcoming and friendly environment where families can access services that they need and enjoy, that stimulate and support their children's learning and development, and supports them as parents and carers.
Limelight encourages the development of young children through a range of play-based experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. Play is fundamental to learning and helps children understand about themselves and the world around them in a physical, social and creative way. Play develops imagination, curiosity, communication skills and social and emotional skills. In fact all the skills and strategies for education and for life, in a way that is both absorbing and interesting to children and FUN.
