Volunteer
Every year, over 40,000 Alliance volunteers give up valuable time and contribute talents, skills and knowledge to benefit and change the lives of families with very young children and the wider community.
Volunteers support our work in many ways. Some volunteers may help on an occasional basis with fundraising activities or nursery outings while others may choose to become a treasurer or secretary for their child’s local pre-school.

Involving Volunteers
Locality forums take place accross the country. The aim of the Locality Forum is to:
- give volunteers a strong voice within the organisation
- promote better engagement between staff and volunteers
- share and receive feedback on relevant issues
The forums include volunteers, parents, staff members, NEC members and senior management team representatives. The meetings are co-ordinated by Divisional Offices which hold details of dates, times and locations of their meetings. Members are welcome to request topics for discussion.
Please contact your nearest Divisional Office to find out more
