Children's Centre Co-ordinator (Barnet)
Salary: £28,000
We are seeking a creative and resourceful professional who enjoys a challenge, to lead and manage the Centre. This post offers an exciting opportunity to work with parents, health and social care and other organisations within the independent, voluntary and private sector.
Reporting to the Projects Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Centre, managing staff and services. However, full daycare is not being offered at the Centre. You will also be facilitating budgets, monitoring performance and evaluating processes that include analysing data.
You should be qualified to Level III (or equivalent) or above in Health, Social Care, Education or Childcare, with proven Line Management experience. With strong leadership and organisational skills you should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with people at all levels and have experience of working with children and their families in a multi agency setting. This is a very "hands on" position so a flexible approach is essential.
This post is for a one year contract, but may be extended.

Children’s Centre Deputy Manager (Ealing)
Salary: £9.01 per hour inclusive of London Weighting (35 hours per week /52 weeks (based on a shift rota) also 15 hours per week/43 weeks 8.45am – 11.45am )
We are looking for a dynamic Deputy Manager based at our Children's Centre based in the London Borough of Ealing. You will provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the Centre. You will be responsible for assisting the Centre Manager with curriculum planning, staffing levels and behavioural management also running the Centre in their absence. The successful applicant will need a minimum level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent, with proven post-qualification experience in running or helping to run a similar service. Candidates must have a good knowledge of Birth to Three matters and the Foundation Stage Framework. Excellent organisational and computer skills are essential, Senco would be desirable.
