Senior Nursery Worker (Ashby Neighbourhood Nursery)
Salary: £13,074 - £15,008 p.a. inclusive of Local Weighting (40 hours/week)

All senior nursery workers will need a minimum level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent and will supervise nursery staff working in their specific area. Candidates will also require specific experience as follows:
- 2-3 Years
With post-qualification experience of early education and childcare, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring a smooth transition between birth to three matters and the foundation stage for children specifically between the two to three years age group. You will need a thorough understanding of child development.

INTERNAL ADVERT: Nursery Assistant (Part time) (Cherry Blossom Nursery)

Nursery Cook (Middleton Neighbourhood Nursery)
Salary: £6.15 - £7.10 p.h (20 hours/week)

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and healthy kitchen environment and preparing and serving nutritional meals to children and adults. You will regulate kitchen stock control and ensure that specific dietary requirements are met.
You will need a current Food Hygiene Certificate and a current First Aid Certificate plus the ability to organise, plan and cook nutritious meals. You will also need an awareness of food allergies and health and safety issues

You will provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery. You will be responsible for assisting the Centre Manager with curriculum planning, staffing levels and behaviour management and will run the nursery in their absence.
The successful applicant will need a minimum level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent, with proven post-qualification experience in running or helping to run a similar service.

We are looking to establish a list of approved bank staff at our Middleton Play & Learning Centre neighbourhood nursery in Middleton, Leeds. Bank staff will be called upon to cover staff shortages in the nursery as they arise, although there are no guaranteed hours of work.
As a bank worker you will be responsible for the provision of care and appropriate learning opportunities for children in the nursery and will supervise the children and protect them from dangerous or harmful situations.

Volunteers needed for Pre-school Project (North Division)
The Pre-school Inclusion project urgently needs volunteers to work in pre-schools across Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire.
The project aims to support pre-schools who are offering a place to a child with special educational needs, by recruiting and training volunteers to act as 'an extra pair of hands' within the group.
Volunteers should enjoy working with children and be able to commit to one morning or afternoon session per week. Travelling expenses will be met and a variety of training opportunities will be provided.
All volunteers will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal records check.
